In celebration of the true spirit of Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr, Ambassador Aisha Farooqui attended a Chand Raat event organised by the Irish Pakistani Professionals Association (IPPA). The event, which was held in Dublin, was attended by members of the Pakistani community in Ireland as well as other distinguished guests.
During her address, the Ambassador extended Eid greetings to all Pakistanis living in Ireland and praised the efforts of the IPPA and the Pakistani community in promoting bilateral relations between the two countries. She highlighted the importance of cultural religious festival exchange and community engagement in building stronger ties between our responsibilties as a community members and carry festivals with its true values and spirit. She expressed her appreciation for the work done by IPPA in promoting Pakistani / Muslim culture and traditions in Ireland and bringing community together.
The community participated in the event with full festivity and enjoyed themselves with food stalls, music, and traditional Mehndi art.
In her address, Ambassador Farooqui also highlighted the important role that the Pakistani community plays in Ireland, both in terms of contributing to the local economy and in building bridges between the two countries. She praised the community for their hard work, dedication and commitment to promoting Pakistan’s and Muslims positive image in Ireland.
The ChandRaat event organized by the IPPA was a huge success, providing a platform for the Pakistani community in Ireland to celebrate their traditions and values, even though they are far away from their home country. The Ambassador’s presence at the event sent a strong signal of Pakistan’s commitment to building stronger ties with the Pakistani community in Ireland. Her words of appreciation for the work done by the IPPA and the Pakistani community were warmly received by all those who attended.
