Ambassador Aisha Farooqui Promotes Bilateral Trade Opportunities Between Pakistan and Ireland in Meeting with Cork Chamber of Commerce.
Oct 14th Cork Ireland | In a continued effort to strengthen trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Ireland, Ambassador Aisha Farooqui met with Rob Horgan, President of the Cork Chamber of Commerce, and his team. During the meeting, Ambassador Farooqui highlighted Pakistan’s business-friendly environment and the vast opportunities available for trade and investment. She encouraged Irish businesses to explore Pakistan’s agri, dairy, energy, and IT sectors.
Ambassador Farooqui also briefed the Chamber about upcoming trade fairs and expos organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), inviting Irish businesses to participate in the Texpo happening this month and the International Trade and Industrial Fair (ITIF) scheduled for May 2025.
Mr. Horgan welcomed the Ambassador’s visit and agreed on the importance of enhancing bilateral trade, particularly in the dairy and energy sectors. The meeting marks another step in fostering closer economic cooperation between the two nations.
