A woman from Leicestershire has reached the final week of MasterChef.Madeeha Qureshi, 39, lives in Hinckley with her husband and three children, and has been impressing judges each week with her wide variety of dishes – including meals inspired by Saudi Arabian street food.
She now finds herself in the final five – with the first episode of finals week set to air tonight at 9pm on BBC One.Madeeha was born in Pakistan but moved to Saudi Arabia when she was three months old. She was inspired to cook from an early age after by her mum and dad, and baked her first cake at just eight-years-old.After moving back to Pakistan at 18, she went to the UK to study with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, but later entered a career in market research.
