DUBLIN: A delegation of the Pakistan Ireland Business Council (PIBC), led by Irfan Hameed, called on Ambassador of Pakistan to Ireland, Mariam Aftab, and welcomed her to Ireland.
During the meeting, the PIBC delegation briefed the ambassador on the council’s mandate, its working structure, and ongoing initiatives aimed at promoting Pakistan–Ireland trade and business cooperation. The discussion focused on strengthening commercial linkages and creating new avenues for bilateral economic engagement.
Ambassador Mariam Aftab appreciated the contributions and consistent efforts of the PIBC over the years in fostering business ties between the two countries. She encouraged the council to further enhance its engagement with Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan and suggested organizing a trade delegation to Pakistan to explore investment and business opportunities.
The ambassador assured the delegation of the embassy’s full support and cooperation in achieving PIBC’s objectives and advancing Pakistan–Ireland economic relations.
