Dublin: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ireland, Mariam Aftab, called on the Chief Executive Officer of Chambers Ireland, Ian Talbot, to discuss avenues for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Ireland.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral trade relations and explored opportunities to expand economic engagement between businesses of the two countries. Ambassador Aftab highlighted Pakistan’s growing economic potential and emphasized the importance of fostering stronger links between Pakistani and Irish business communities.
Mr. Talbot welcomed the initiative and noted that enhanced cooperation between private sectors could unlock new opportunities for investment, innovation, and market access. Both sides agreed that promoting business-to-business (B2B) partnerships would play a key role in expanding trade and strengthening economic ties.
The discussion also focused on facilitating networking platforms, trade delegations, and collaborative initiatives aimed at encouraging companies from Pakistan and Ireland to explore mutual opportunities.
The meeting reflects the shared commitment of both sides to deepen economic engagement and build stronger commercial partnerships between Pakistan and Ireland.
