Galway, Ireland — Mariam Aftab, Ambassador of Pakistan to Ireland, called on Alan Cheevers, Deputy Mayor of the Galway City Council, during a courtesy meeting aimed at strengthening community ties and cooperation.
During the meeting, Cllr Cheevers briefed the Ambassador on various initiatives undertaken by the City Council and commended the positive contributions of the Pakistani community residing in Galway. He acknowledged their active role in local development and community-building efforts.
Ambassador Aftab appreciated the recognition and reaffirmed the Embassy’s full support in encouraging greater participation of the Pakistani community in the Council’s initiatives. She emphasized the importance of inclusive engagement and collaboration to further strengthen community relations.
