Dublin, 29th May 2025 — The Pakistan Ireland Business Council (PIBC) convened a highly successful meeting on Wednesday morning at the prestigious RDS Members Club in Dublin. The session, held at 10:00 AM, brought together community leaders, business professionals, and supporters of cross-cultural collaboration.
The meeting was chaired by Co-Chairman Damian Glynn, who facilitated discussions focused on business engagement and shared opportunities between Pakistan and Ireland. The event commenced with an opening address by PIBC President Irfan Hammed, who reaffirmed the Council’s ongoing commitment to strengthening bilateral business ties and fostering meaningful community partnerships.
A highlight of the meeting was the participation of Dr. Kashif Sadiqui, representing The Citizens Foundation (TCF) – an acclaimed charity known for its impactful work in providing quality education to underprivileged children. The PIBC expressed strong interest in supporting TCF’s mission and exploring avenues for partnership to enhance its reach and effectiveness within local and international communities.
Adding further depth to the session, interior designer Elaine McHugh delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on the role of design in both business and residential settings. Her talk shed light on how thoughtful design can contribute to functionality, creativity, and inspiration in various environments.
The meeting underscored PIBC’s role as a bridge-builder between Irish and Pakistani communities and its continued dedication to empowering change through collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
