Interfaith Dialogue Celebrating the Shared Reverence for Lady Mary (Maryum )
An inspiring interfaith event was successfully organized to bring together members of the Christian and Muslim communities, fostering unity and mutual understanding. The gathering highlighted the profound significance of Lady Mary (Maryam), a revered figure in both faith traditions, as a symbol of purity, compassion, and devotion. The event featured meaningful discussions, cultural exchanges, and reflections on Lady Mary’s role in promoting peace and harmony across religious boundaries. Leaders and participants emphasized the importance of dialogue in building bridges and strengthening community ties.
This initiative stands as a testament to the shared values of respect, love, and faith that unite diverse communities. It marks a step forward in creating a more inclusive and harmonious society.
This event was part of our ongoing commitment to 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, bringing communities together through shared values and mutual respect. We were delighted to see a wonderful turnout from members of different faiths and backgrounds.

Father Tony kindly commended the event, reinforcing the importance of such spaces for dialogue and understanding. We were also pleased to welcome representatives from the 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 and extend our thanks to all who supported and joined us on this great event especially Cllr Seamus Buttler , Janine Bartley, Garda James & team, Parvez Ahmed Butt, kathleen Dowed & Michael Croghan.
