First ever huge gathering of Waterford Pakistani Community on 8th January 2023. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Ireland, H.E. Mrs Ayesha Farooqi and Mayor of Waterford John O’Leary graced the occasion. A large number of Pakistani families joined the gathering. The participants were from almost all walks of life, including but not limited to Medicine, IT, Business, and Support services. The Ambassador was very delighted to meet with the Pakistani migrants. The Ambassador and Mayor distributed certificates of appreciation and gifts to the organisers of the event. The organisation committee presented handmade Waterford Crystal gifts to the distinguished guests. The Ambassador also given a soveinior from Pakistani Embassy to the Mayor John O’Leary. All the participants were offered a buffet lunch. At the end the participants enjoyed live music. The program ended with a vote of thanks to the organisers and all the guests.
