The Pakistan Ireland Business Council (PIBC) participated in a highly successful webinar on “Export Opportunities in the Irish Market,” organised in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the Embassy of Ireland in Pakistan, and the Commercial Section of the Consulate of Pakistan in Manchester.
The virtual session brought together exporters, importers, distributors, trade officials, and business leaders from Pakistan and Ireland to explore opportunities in Ireland’s Food and Beverage sector and discuss effective market-entry strategies. Participants also examined importer and distributor requirements and highlighted Ireland’s strategic importance as a gateway to the wider European market.
PIBC expressed special appreciation to FPCCI for its outstanding efforts in bringing together a large number of participants from across Pakistan and creating a valuable platform for direct engagement with Irish market representatives. The Council also acknowledged the dedication and excellent organisation of the initiative by Imran Khalil Naseer.
Industry experts, including Amir Iqbal of Ashvill, Ibrahim Riaz, and Badar Mirza, shared practical insights from the perspective of wholesalers and distributors. Their contributions provided valuable guidance for Pakistani exporters seeking to establish and expand their presence in Ireland and the European Union.
Members of PIBC contributed presentations and shared market expertise aimed at helping Pakistani businesses better understand how Ireland can serve as a strategic gateway to the European Union market. The webinar facilitated meaningful discussions, fostered new business connections, and opened avenues for potential partnerships between companies from both countries.
PIBC also acknowledged the continued support of the Irish and Pakistani diplomatic missions, whose active involvement plays an important role in strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
The event underscored the growing commitment of stakeholders in both countries to deepen commercial ties and create new opportunities for businesses. Through continued collaboration, Pakistan and Ireland are building stronger economic bridges and advancing mutually beneficial trade relations.
