As part of its student outreach and engagement efforts, the Pakistani Mission in Ireland, represented by Ambassador Aisha Farooqui, participated in an orientation session at Dublin Business School (DBS). The event was attended by a large group of newly enrolled students from Pakistan, DBS alumni, members of the Pakistan-Ireland Business Council, and DBS faculty members and management.
Dublin Business School has been a significant academic destination for Pakistani students, with hundreds of students having pursued tertiary education across various disciplines over the years.
In her remarks, Ambassador Farooqui congratulated the new students for beginning a new chapter in their lives. She highlighted the rich educational opportunities in Ireland, with a special focus on research and innovation, urging the students to embrace academic challenges and make the most of their experience. The Ambassador also encouraged students to explore Ireland’s local culture, traditions, and communities, while building relationships with fellow students from Ireland and around the world.
Ambassador Farooqui further assured the students of the Embassy’s full support for any assistance they may need during their time in Ireland. She also expressed her gratitude to the management of Dublin Business School for organizing a successful and welcoming event for the students.
