According to POC Social media Team :
200+ people were served with hot and cold food including Chicken Biryani, Samosas, Spring Rolls, Sandwitches, Cup cakes, Fruit, Cold Drinks and Water.
The POC Soup Run Team including sister Aisha President Women Wing, sister Jeveira Soup Team Chief Organizer, sister Sadia Secretary Co Longford, sister Fariha and sister Samina representing Dublin Team managed the Soup Run very well. Sadia’s children Ruhaan, Rida, Noor and Zain were also volunteered and they helped the Soup Run Team. Rana Usman Ajmal , President POC Ireland, and Muhammad Athar General Secretsry POC Ireland were also present and supervised the whole event.
Pakistani Ambassador His Excellence Mr Shuja Alam visited the Soup Run and encouraged the Soup Run Team. He appreciated this event and highlighted the importance of such events in the Irish society. He also encouraged to keep doing such events regularly as these events will make the Pakistani Community prominent and connected with the Irish society.
At the end, we extend our thanks and congratulate to the whole POC Soup Run Team and volunteers for making this event possible and a success.
