Dublin, Ireland – The Pakistan Embassy in Dublin celebrated the 23rd of March, also known as Pakistan Resolution Day, with a flag hoisting ceremony on Saturday 23rd of March 2024. The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani community members living in Ireland.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the Pakistani flag by Ambassador Aisha Farooqui. The national anthem was played.
Ambassador Aisha Farooqui read the special day messages from President and Prime minister of Pakistan and she also addressed the attendees and highlighted the significance of Pakistan Resolution Day. She spoke about the importance of unity, faith, and discipline, the principles upon which Pakistan was founded. The ambassador emphasized that Pakistan is a peaceful and progressive nation and that the Pakistani community in Ireland is an important part of the global Pakistani diaspora.
The attendees were delighted and expressed their gratitude to the Pakistani Embassy for organizing the event and providing them with the opportunity to come together and celebrate their culture and history.
