Association of Pakistanis in Ireland (API) celebrates the diamond Jubilee (75 years of Independence) of Pakistan Independence Day. Large amount of Pakistani community members from all walk of life had attended the event. Irish Government Senator Emer Currie along with some councilors also attended the event. While highlighting the significance of the Independence Day.
Senior Executives of API introduce the organization and highlight its achievement and successful representation of Pakistani community in Ireland for the last 40 years. the event was full of activities for families and children, kids and adults take part in quiz, kids drawing competition and perform on national songs.
Chargés d’affaires paid rich tribute to brave leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, his companions, and workers of freedom movement whose sacrifices led to creation of our independent homeland of Pakistan. He mentioned about achievements made over the past seven decades. While appreciating the resilience of Pakistani nation, he said that we have successfully tackled all challenges in the past and will do so with the ongoing floods. He urged upon the participants to assist their flood hit brothers and sisters to the maximum.
Cd’A also commended the good work done by API over the years for service of community in Ireland. He assured them Embassy’s full support and cooperation for welfare and facilitation of the community. He thanked the Irish government for hosting a sizable number of Pakistan nationals in Ireland and welcomed the Irish Government’s decision of opening the Embassy in Islamabad.
