Annual Pakistan Polo Trophy 2022 was held on 11 September 2022 in Phoenix Polo Ground Park Dublin -the second oldest Polo Club in Europe. It was attended by a large number of Polo lovers. This time, players/teams from Pakistan could not participate due to catastrophic floods that hit the country. Charge’d’ Affaires, Embassy of Pakistan attended the event as the Chief Guest. He congratulated Dr. Fayyaz Sharif and his team on successfully organizing the tournament. He also congratulated the players and winners of the trophy. On this occasion, some of the participants expressed their interest to make donations for flood affected. They were provided details about sending the donations through Prime Minister’s relief fund, NGOs, charity organizations or individually as per their convenience.
The organizers expressed their interest to organize a tournament winner team in Pakistan in future as that would contribute towards promotion of bilateral cooperation in the area of sports, particularly Polo.
