On the invitation of President and Chairman of Pakistan Ireland Business Council (PIBC), Ambassador Aisha Farooqui participated in a business networking event organized by PIBC at Wayback burgers in Dublin. The event was well attended by people from different walks of life with active participation by female entrepreneurs.
Mr. Irfan Hameed ,President PIBC and Mr. Ronan Twohig, Chairman of PIBC welcomed the Ambassador and briefed about PIBC.
Participants of the event gave their 60 second business pitch and introduced their businesses to each other. Mr. Ronan asked each business owner how the Pakistan Ireland Business Council can help them to improve their business. Every business owner was given a chance to share ideal business referrals for their trade and connections and support they need. President of PIBC Irfan Hameed asked every business owner to exchange business cards and arrange one to one meetings for suitable connections they are looking for. He asked the participants to list their businesses free of charge on PIBC directory online at www.pibc.ie so their business information becomes available for benefit of all concerned. Presentation by Marc Thornton, a business coach on effective business marketing was widely appreciated by all.
Ambassador Aisha Farooqui thanked PIBC for their warm welcome . She congratulated the PIBC team for successfully organizing its third meeting over past three months. She assured Embassy’s full support to the PIBC for their endeavors to promote Pakistan Ireland Business cooperation. She reiterated that promotion of Pakistan Ireland Business Relations remained one of her Mission’s top priorities.
