Promotion of Pakistan-Ireland Bilateral Cooperation in Scientific Research

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Ireland in the field of scientific research, a delegation visited Tyndall National Institute, Ireland’s leading research center for deep-tech innovation.

The visit included productive meetings with Professor William Scanlon, CEO of Tyndall, Professor John O’Halloran, President of University College Cork (UCC), and a group of Pakistani scholars and researchers working in Ireland.

Discussions centered on fostering research collaborations between Tyndall and academic and research institutions in Pakistan. Key areas of interest included joint research projects, exchange programs, and technology transfer to advance shared scientific goals.

The delegation also toured Tyndall’s cutting-edge research labs, gaining insights into the institute’s groundbreaking work in areas such as photonics, microelectronics, and nanotechnology.
