Introducing IPIP
One of the main objectives is to create an efficient and effective networking platform. Although the social aspect of networking is very important, through IPIP great professional networking opportunities are created.
IPIP enables professionals who are already successful in their areas of expertise to provide guidance to those who wish to kick start their careers in these areas. This is achieved by organising seminars, which may lead to one to one networking channels and professional friendships, where aspiring professionals may be able to gain valuable insights.
IPIP enables ICT professionals to serve the community by contributing to, and organising training and guidance seminars for students who aspire to make a successful career in the fascinating area of Information and communication technologies.
Through its website, blog, Facebook page IPIP enables ICT professionals to share their knowledge, keep providing information about emerging trends, up-skilling opportunities, and job openings. Over time this content will become a valuable knowledge base for all. Companies set up by Irish Pakistani ICT professionals will hugely benefit from this knowledge base and will be able to use this platform to search for talent, freelance developers, and outsourcing opportunities.
IPIP enables like-minded ICT professionals to share and discuss their innovative ideas, identify individuals who share similar passion and form groups that should lead to start-up ideas and setting up new companies. IPIP will be engaging with incubation centres, start-up hubs and supporting organisations to enable IPIP members benefit from these links. This will also include networking with business and educational institutions both in the public and private sectors and with social and political influencers
Along with the all above, IPIP will enable Irish Pakistani ICT Professionals to build bridges between Pakistan and Ireland by effectively engaging with organizations both in the public and private sector that promote the development of the IT sector; hosting initiatives that promote professional, cultural and intellectual exchanges; representing the vibrant and successful community of Irish Pakistani IT professionals, sharing their success stories and contribution to both Irish and Pakistani economical growth; organising social activities such as hosting events for families and kids, and hosting information events for the member community from a social perspective.
Such initiatives and organizations eventually take up their course naturally and evolve organically. It is envisaged that IPIP members will lead a number of projects, form sub-groups and committees to make continuing progress in achieving goals and objectives outlined above and set and achieve new objectives as the technology progresses and the community evolves.
