A dignified ceremony was organized by the Embassy to commemorate the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” bringing together members of the Pakistani community and different Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora along with Members of Pakistan Irish community profesional organizations and in a strong display of unity, solidarity, and national pride.
The event began with the reading of special messages from the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. A video message from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs was also played for the audience.
The leadership messages paid rich tribute to the brave Armed Forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices and unwavering commitment to the defense of the nation. The messages also reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to peace, sovereignty, and national resilience.
Addressing the gathering, the Ambassador praised the professionalism, courage, and sacrifices of the Armed Forces and the entire nation. She reiterated Pakistan’s consistent commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing the country’s constructive role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy.
Highlighting Pakistan’s efforts during the recent US-Iran crisis, the Ambassador noted that Pakistan continued to support initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and encouraging peaceful engagement in the region.
She further stated that commemorating the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq was not only about remembering the past sacrifices and achievements, but also about shaping a stronger, more united, and prosperous future for Pakistan.
During the ceremony, attendees were also shown a documentary featuring various aspects of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan al Marsoos, highlighting the resilience, determination, and sacrifices associated with the operation.
The event concluded with renewed expressions of solidarity, patriotism, and commitment to Pakistan’s peace, progress, and stability.
