Dublin, Ireland – May 17, 2024 — A Pakistan delegation comprising Presidents, CEOS and other office holders of top Pakistani commercial banks and financial services companies such as Bank Al Falah, HBL, Meezan Bank, United Bank Ltd, Meezan Bank, KT Bank, Allied Bank , Systems Ltd Company and few others companies visited Dublin to participate in Temenos Community Forum (TCF)2024 on 14-16 May 2024. The Mission extended all necessary facilitation to the delegation. Besides delegation’s participation in the Conference, the Mission organized meetings of some delegates with their counterparts in Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland nd Central Bank of Ireland.
Ambassador Aisha Farooqui also hosted a dinner in the honour of visiting delegation. It was also attended by Heads/CEOs of various organization including representative from department of Foreign Affairs dealing with Economic cooperation matters. While briefing the participants about Mission’s efforts and initiatives for promotion of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Ireland in various areas, the Ambassador emphasized the need for enhanced economic cooperation including in banking and fintech sectors.
